Really for the money, get a vanilla XLT with rear e locker, pick the A la carte skid plates, add your own coil over kit of choice, and larger tires of choice.
Or overpay for an FX4 to get hill decent control and some mushy shocks you'll be taking off anyway, and do the above.
Guarantee you in Canada the Tremor package will be over $5k.

*,Edit* outside of the electronic gadgetry and the trim bits, the front locker looks like the real big deal here.
I'm betting more like a $7k package in Canada.
This year I couldn't find an XLT Supercab 3.3 for less than $38k with locker and tow package and I haven't seen an XLT Supercab with 2.7 for less than $40k.
So, $50k plus minimum for a Tremor in any configuration is my guess.

But don’t forget the 33” AT tires. Just the wheel/tire package, suspension lift, full set of skids (I don’t think the regular skid plate option has the front plate. Correct me if I’m wrong), locker—I’m already over $4k if I go aftermarket. Plus no warranty. Also, resale would be better as well, I’m guessing.

But maybe that’s moot, since dealers may charge up the wazoo for it.

I grew up on traditional 4wd xfer cases so it doesn’t bother me. Plus, I don’t want to worry about another part to break. That clutch pack system seem ok but I don’t know.... Don’t need or want it.

I felt this way 100% until I bought my Raptor with the Four Wheel Drive Auto Mode (my previous truck was a 2012 Power Wagon with the old school lever on the floor). For those days where side roads are icy and main roads are dry, it makes pulling out into traffic so much nicer.

Is it riding season yet?
4A was the one thing I missed from my last truck (lariat that had it). Too bad it's not available in the XLT.

If you are referring to the locking front and rear diffs, I have read that on a couple sites now. Looks like a good package.

Couple other links:

No mention of a front locker from Ford. Not surprising. It didn’t make sense. LSD would be nice but it’s only at the higher trims. Along with 360 cam, trail control, one pedal, turn assist. All of which would be nice but I don’t want to pay extra for.

The nice thing about a factory package is that it's covered under warranty and you recoup some of it when you sell the truck. Aftermarket parts void portions of the warranty and you don't get anything back when you sell it.

Exactly. A Tremor or Raptor or what have you, will always book more then a similar year / condition XLT that's been modded with some of the parts off the other trucks.

A plug-in Tremor would blow my mind.
Just read there may be a PHEV Ranger when it is redesigned? I read somewhere else 68 miles of battery only range?

.

As cool as I think the F150 Tremor is, if i am honest with myself about what I need out of a truck, I don't need that much off road capability. I tow and haul with my truck more than I'm off road.

For, me this would be the ideal F150.

I could probably omit a few things like the 360 camera, floor liners, wheel well liners, box liner, Side mirror spot lights and box lights and under seat storage.

Just thinking that by the time I add a few of these things after fact, am I really that much ahead? (boxliner, floor liners, LED box lights, under seat storage)

I’ll have to see what the base Tremor comes with. I do like the fact it already comes with a slight lift. Around here, it comes in handy. Stock height, I was scraping unless I was stacking rocks and picking lines carefully. Plus the front skid, bigger tires, etc. adds to the value.

Under seat storage cost less than 10.00 to build. LED bed lights are about 25.00 and boxlink is under 20.00 for the brackets off of Amazon. ;-)

I actually have a boxlink shovel mount and rod holder that I'm working on for my truck.
