As cool as I think the F150 Tremor is, if i am honest with myself about what I need out of a truck, I don't need that much off road capability. I tow and haul with my truck more than I'm off road.

I'm in the same boat. It would be cool and all...buuuut I'm not going to use any of it so it would not be money well spent.

Under seat storage cost less than 10.00 to build. LED bed lights are about 25.00 and boxlink is under 20.00 for the brackets off of Amazon. ;-)

I actually have a boxlink shovel mount and rod holder that I'm working on for my truck.
I do like that the factory bed lights are integrated into the rest of the truck with that zone lighting. Would be handy for me around a campsite at night.

Yeah, then I have to build the underseat storage.... lol. And, in order to build it I would probably need to inform my wife I need new tools. lol

with a lot of stuff like that homemade is better.

And it is always good to have more tools but then you need to build a bigger shop

Mine come on with the bed lights on the back of the cab....easy to install and provide way more light than the OEM bed lights ever could.

And yes, you need more tools ;-)

I wonder if they showed up in the build and price yet. I'll have to look. Also wonder if the chip shortage will delay the rollout....
The chip shortage is a huge issue. It is causing massive delays on our vehicles being delivered. What you read in the news is not even close to how bad it is.

I drive by GM, RAM and Ford dealerships everyday on my commute. It's crazy how bare their lots on. Must be tough for them to sustain with no inventory.

Coincidentally, I’ve been getting calls from dealers to submit orders for a new truck, jeep, etc. Maybe to get some deposit revenues flowing in.

I used to get calls all the time from my dealer wanting me to trade my truck. Haven't in a while. I was guessing due to supply?

I wouldn't want to buy right now anyway. Not a buyers market.

I'm curious to see if all trims of F150 Tremor will have a 4 Auto transfer case since they use the transfer case out of the Raptor.

A mid level Tremor with 4A, that new scale tech, max tow package and 36 gallon tank could work well for me....

But suspect it'll be near 65K + up here for a midlevel one if the base starts at 51K in the US.

Ive considered selling either my F150 or my Lexus GX right now and then just waiting it out. But it could be a long time before prices come back down.

When i was looking, trucks with similar miles, year and trim as mine were going for high 20’s. Mine is a 2014 Lariat with 92k. I paid 42k for it new.

I see the ram dealers nearby me having constant new stock. The local ford dealers have having trouble getting trucks and instantly sell what they got. I have a friend that owns a local large gm dealership, he told me he cannot get any new stock, or can occasionally get only a couple vehicles. He told me gm is dealing with the ripple effect of the UAW strike, COVID shutdowns and supply issues, gm cancelled goverment sales for 2021 and 2022 models... that is a huge deal, with allot of lost sales. I ordered a new Ford police utility vehicle for work, it was easy to get, standard 8 to 10 week wait. I think ford and Chrysler are fairing better than gm during this mess.

The only dealership in town sells Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM on one side and Chevrolet, Buick, GMC on the other. At the moment they have no new Jeeps, only a handful of Dodge cars, no Chrysler's, two HD RAM's and maybe half a dozen 1500's. On the GM side of the house they have plenty of Buick's and maybe a dozen GMC and Chevrolet trucks, it truly is a pitiful sight to see. Ford is all kinds of fucky with their trucks because of the chip shortage and all dealers around here are demanding full sticker for what little inventory they have on the lot because of it.

I got lucky with my RAM purchase this week and actually got $4K off of sticker on a 3500, considering the current inventory shortage and price gouging that follows I consider that a pretty good deal in the current market. Now is the time to sell if you have the ability to wait around for a replacement as dealers are paying top dollar for trades just so that they have clean vehicles in inventory to sell. The used section of these local dealers looks better than their new stock haha.
