Last I looked in the summer, a SCAB 4x4 301a 2.7 PP truck was 53-55k CAD. I have no use for a crew cab so didn't price out but let's say 56k for one of those. Those trucks have 36 gallon fuel tank, so great range.
Here is XLT with standard range, and with Extended range in USD.

But for US buyers is there not a 12 grand rebate from the gov coming for EV's?

Just nuts- saving up to buy stuff is not by parents or in school…

I am no expert on the matter so don't hold me too this but with my Prime I am getting a $4,500 tax credit for 2021 not a rebate. It carries a lot of asterisks about income level and how much you owe in taxes. Most EV tax credits are $7,500 for 2021 with a lot in the air about what 2022 will be. The $12,000 would be a tax credit as well meaning you can only take advantage of that full amount if you are in a high enough tax bracket. The credit is also only currently written for cars under $80K, plus congress still needs to pass the Build Back Better Act before any of this can happen.
