If only you made a video of this build...I'm excited for you!
At the time I was not into doing videos, yet more work on the project...LOL Hopefully we will not regret it. The plan is to do a final walk around video going into as much detail as possible linked to this thread and including a LOT of the photos we have taken along the way.

ONWARD!!

Unfortunately, I don't have enough thumbs to show my appreciation and excitement for this project!

I guess I am old school because I like the pictures and text. Part of it is based on where I am when I look at the forums.

1 week before departure. PROGRESS and long days! GET ER DONE!

The wife poured a new table for the L couch. Will put a matte finish on it this week.

All the electrical is FINALLY done and buttoned up.

1688991870271.jpeg
The final kitchen cabinet assembly! Fingers crossed on "final"...LOL.

1688991525268.jpeg
The quick and easy headboard is in. You can turn on/off the interior lights and outdoor security lights from the headboard. USB and 110 outlets. Reading lights to come :)

1688991950650.jpeg
Starlink! Converted to flat panel and all equipment inside the unit. Just DC power to hook up!
1688992227449.jpeg
Gluing down the metal pads to utilize the magnet mounts. Unit is easily, well beside the REALLY STRONG magnets :), removed for use in other locations.

The DDG Overland tire carrier...WORK OF ART, NOT sponsored, deserved its own post!
It is HERE....well now it is at powder coating. It will be the same black as the front and rear bumpers. Should be on the truck Friday....fingers crossed.

Drilled and tapped the mounts 5/8-11 to take out the hitch slop and reduce movement. I had to redrill the hole to get proper tire carrier spacing from the back of the habitat.

Should have blown out the chips before the photo :) Test fit. 1 down 1 to go. You can see hitch # 2 in the back of the photo. Finished late last night....DONE! SS hardware in hand ready for the carrier from powder coating! Cutting it close!

Test fit prior to drilling the mounts.

SOLID bars....heavy little suckers.

Thank you again DDG for getting the mount to us in time for our trip. It is VERY WELL MADE.
The tire would have looked dumb strapped, duck tapped :) to the back of the rig!

Time to get back to work!

Yeah I noticed the huggies box. I was definitely curious.

What is the table made of, clear epoxy? How thick is it?

The table is 3/4 plywood with Stone Coat epoxy finish poured over it. Pretty easy process. Wife has it down to a science!
We did the kitchen counter the same way, except it has a 3/4 bamboo board. We used what was left of a 4X8 sheet the shipping company bought us😁.

This close to running away from home! We put in a hard week and it has paid off!!
36 hours to departure. Only 1 thing left, See Level gauge monitor mounting & integration to the Cerbo GX. Used the See Level gauges in our motorhome and LOVED them.

PERFECT! Not all that bad to hoist up. Mounted the Baja Designs RTL M 3rd brake light/ reverse light, WINNER. Thank you Kevin, RAM5500 CAMPERTHING for the idea! WORKS GREAT! Made a reverse camera mount. Will mount the cargo camera in the winter :)

The inside has come a LONG WAY in a week! We knew when we added the rear wardrobe it would put us at 24 feet bumper to bumper NOT including the spare tire carrier and possibly a small rear mounted box. We feel it was worth it. TONS of storage for our 2 and 3 month long trips!
TOTALLY worth it!

When we can not park the rig in the perfect spot to block the sun, easy solution.
Time to pack the camping gear in the empty box in the picture!
