We ordered our Xpedition Voyager camper back in late May 2021 and just recently received it. During the wait we've been refining the jeep and gearing up; we're happy to share our experiences with the Jeep and Voyager for anyone considering a similar path.

Xpedition Trailers, you can learn more here: https://xpeditiontrailers.com/ - Artie and team did an amazing job!
Dealer rep was Loren and team at Xgrid Campers, here: https://www.xgridcampers.com/

Cheers!

Wow, that is quite a setup. I'm curious how much it weighs and what engine you're running in the JL. I know with my light little Turtleback Getaway (<2,000 lbs fully loaded up) it struggles a bit on grades (I have to pick my gears and build RPMs before hitting the grade).

Thanks for sharing! That's an interesting layout for a small camper.
Have you gotten it out and about yet?
Thanks! With the roof top tent, annex room, 270 awning and walls, julka bath-house and gazelle screen rooms set up it gives a pretty good amount of space - when you don't want all of that, the inside has diesel heat (and a heat port to the RTT or annex) and the interior shelf is built for the zero breeze mark II portable air conditioner (still in a box) -- We just got the Voyager mid Jan - only test towed it so far, still setting it and getting used to it in the driveway before we give it formal weekend out.....I haven't even opened the tent yet!

Thanks! The trailer shipped weight was 2830 lbs (with options, 2300 lbs stock) and GVWR is 3500 lbs. We had our 2019 JL (with the 6 cylinder gas engine) re-geared with yukon 4.88 diffs. The jeep tows, climbs, and also drives hwy really well (tires are nitto ridge grappler 35's) and does fine for the intended purpose. I'm also using the redarc tow pro elite brake controller which is great so far. Here is the info page with more: https://xpeditiontrailers.com/features-&-options

The 2019 Jeep also has the new 8 speed transmission vs the prior 6 speed.

That is a sweet build. You have gone all out. If you don't mind me ask. How much did it cost?
Thanks - it took a while to get it all done, but worth it! Voyager starting price is listed on their webpage, we added all available build options and then some of our own, then had it shipped from Vegas to NC. Since all of these things are variable, I'll just say we're quite happy with everything!

Funny I gave the same type of answer on my trailer but I am still in the build process and will be picking mine up. So I am going to guess. 38k for base, 3k for shipping, 15k for options.

Ha, well like I said - all things are variable. We ordered our trailer back in late May early / June 2021 -- since then the base price, RTT, and some smaller item prices have risen with demand and inflation. I think it would be fair to say that most Voyager trailer builds will be in the upper 40's + shipping, (we used U-ship and did well @ $2,175 towed) BTW - are you also building a Voyager trailer? (if so let me know if you have any questions!)
