2025 GMC Canyon Elevation

One of the soft topper companies makes a soft topper that will coexist with their tonneau cover.

Then when you don't want the topper it is a big wad of tent like material to deal with rather than basically another pickup box to remove and store somewhere.

For me being able to roll either way would be nice. Day to day a tonneau cover would be great. For trips a topper would be nice... but what do I do with it for the 350 days a year I don't need it?

Rounding up at least one sucker volunteer to remove the topper on my Ranger gets old. And then the topper has a huge footprint to store somewhere until I get my sucker volunteer to come back over and help me set it back on.

I'm looking to drive some 6x6 posts into the ground so I can back between them, 2 in each side, set up some chains and hooks or chains and 4x4s to slide under the cap as I unbolt the clamps. Back in, hook up, unbolt, lift and drive away.

Someday...

Mine is 7', has a weird stealth bomber shape on the roof and it may be 200. It isn't bad for two people.

I've thought about doing that off my garage rafters.

But then the thing is stuck tying up half my garage lol.

Sort of off to the side of the garage. Wouldn't have to lift it more than a couple,6 inches.. probably need some come-along type ratchets

What’s the difference between an elevation and a AT4 if this has the small lift? Just different wheels and red tow hooks?

As I understand it, Elevation, despite the name, has no factory lift or skid plates and the X31 is optional. AT4 starts with x31 off the bat with skids and has a 2 inch lift from the factory.

That's how it is on the Sierra, and I think it's the same in Canyon

I miss the geated steering wheel and the top/bottom storage compartments on the dash (glovebox).....and all the storage the Silverados center console had, but I wi get used to this truck just fine

A new Century cap for this truck is $3600!!?!?

Wow
Yeah, dude. And it's been like that for 7, 8 years, those prices. Found one on Craigslist for $400 for my truck

I bet you can find one used, maybe for 1500 , though I know the truck is new enough design there wont be many used ones
