Looking at tires. Wanting to go to 33" wondering pros and cons of 33x10.50 VS 33x12.50. Use the Jeep(2001xj) as a DD and mild trail rides, hunting and camping. Also my wheels are 15x8 with 4" backspacing. Help a brother out . LOL

If you're currently running the 32x11.5 Kuhmos I think the 33x10.5s will fit with a very similar amount of 'rubbing' if you have any.

Honestly for a DD I'd probably run that size given the choice between it and the 12.5 of the same size. Less getting drug around in ruts and better fuel mileage.

Go narrow for a whole host of reasons. I don't have time now to go into detail, but you can search the ExPo forums for tons of great conversations on this issue.

Bottom line: skinny beats wide for most situations.

I'm running 33x10.50 on my rover it's a great size and it really digs deep in mud. I also like this size or crawling. I personally think your cherokee would look great with that size!:victory:

Pizza cutters For the win!!!!

Just ordered some 33x10.50 KM2's :wings:

Please get some pictures of them up when you get them, along with your impressions. I'm torn between the 33x10.5 AT or KM2 for my T100 and ready to order any day now.

Might be a while before I get to use them but I'll get pictures up.

Pizza cutters are the 33x9.50 tires, now those are skinny. You'll like the 33x10.50, good balance for lighter truck (I run the same in the older KM tread).

From personal experience the 8's are a bit wide for a 10.50 (yeah, I know that's what all of the RoT's say should be used on that width tire). I went to a 7" rim after using them on 8's and have been happier with the 7's. Not to say that they wouldn't work on 8's or anything, just that I prefer the looks and performance when on the 7's.
