4X4 Toyota Van find

I've been resisting the urge to buy one of those or one of the old 4x4 tercels for years now. I've been threatened with no where to park it, and not being able to drive anyone I know inside it with me...but I still want one:sombrero:

4wd toyota van

I owned one for about three years, sold it with 185k on it. Motors run forever, but are a PIA to work on. The hot ticketr are the 5 speed manual ones, they have 2 speed transfer case as opposed to the AT ones that only have a button on the dash. If I ever find a manual tranny, cargo one I'll snap it up.

Wining bid 665 :Wow1: such a deal.....these vans are awesome IMO, great cruising power loaded down, awesome MPG for what they are, we get approx. 22 in ours.

The 4x4 5sp's are very rare in decent drivable condition.

That's a different van. The ebay one is an automatic in Cali. The one in Houston is manual...

They're ugly as sin but would make an efficient camper van. Are these with a 22R or 22RE?

Neither, they are a push rod 4cyl that is laid on it's side if memory serves me correctly (usually doesn't):sombrero:
