If you don't mind, where on the (I assume, Pacific) coast were you before you set out to Bahia De Los Angeles?

Southwest of Catavina.

We ended in this place at night last May, and it was outright creepy.
But I guess locals may have been scared of us more than we of them.

Awesome report! Loving the images. We have some amazing terrain up here in Canada but it's so drastically different than this. Can't wait to get down there one day.

Is this a guided paid trip or some kind of a forum or club gathering?

It's a paid tour. We've been doing them for Raptors down to Baja for 6 years or so and are now doing Overland trips as well. We love to sharing Baja so much it kind of took on a life of it's own lol.

Wow!!! What a great looking trip... We've have a place in Baja, about 25 miles south of San Felipe on the Sea of Cortez side, for about 25 years. The problem is we always seem to just go there and don't travel/explore much further. Something I want to change. I see that it's mostly jeeps. We have a full sized Ford van. However, it does have 4x4, a 6 1/2" lift kit, front & rear air-lockers, on-board air compressor, a winch, recovery gear and a driver that's not afraid to put it to the test... Is this something that's reasonable for us to do?
