After the Nahanni up the Robert Campbell Hwy towards the North Canol Rd.

More RC hwy. Getting directions to a camp area near Ross River from the local RCMP before hitting the North Canol Rd. The 24hr pay at the pump gas station was not working and the ferry across the Pelly river was shut down by the time I got into town. The RC hwy had some pretty greasy sections, the truck was covered in oily fine mud.

The North Canol. If you need to stock up before hitting this road you can get the basics at the Dena General Store in Ross River. Bring gas extra gas if you plan to make it as far as your rig can drive and back.. I met some guys riding in a Toyota 4Runner that said they turned around before the Yk.NWT border because they didn't have enough fuel..
