So we have a bit over a foot of snow and I had to go play. I didn't get any pictures, but fun non the less. The front limited slip makes the thing point and shoot.

So after grenadeing the u joint and axles on the long side of my dana 44 I decided to make some improvements:
First a nice dana 60 front

DUALLIES

Then this monster, it was advertised as a dana 70u, but turns out it is really a dana 70HD.

This thing is rated to carry my whole burb on one side.

I went with dually axles so I can go to H1 rims and tires with the double bead lock. Both are 4.56's.
Plans for the 60 right now are to go through the kingpins and lower bearings as well as the hubs and wheel bearings. I will be going to springless kingpin plates and bronze bushings.
The 70 will get discs and maybe 14bolt hubs to widen it up some more. Right now it is 3.5 inches narrower than the front.

So I got my twin stick NP205 transfer case project nearly wrapped up. Works well on the bench, I ground the shaft so it will allow independent shifting, but not allow one to be in high while the other is in low. Just need to finish up the tops of the shifters, new seals and a new speedo drive gear and it is ready to mount in.

Thinking of welding a bolt sticking up and then tapering them up to it and then some knobs. Or just bending them apart half way up and then back straight with finger notches kinda like pistol grips.

So Ipulled the cover off the 60F and it looks like it just got rebuilt. Still has the set paint on the ring gear and the fluid was nice still. I am thinking it either bearings or ring and pinion went out as the carrier and the cross pin are blued from heat.

Now I have a pile of parts and no time. Seems like I always lack time, money, or parts.
