Well im going to start by saying i have liked off roading since my sophomore year in high school, went threw many 4wd vehicles and currently got drawn into smaller 4 wheelers cause of the trails that we have been going around. I got the truck for 250 bucks but quickly started putting money into it. It was a 1986 Bronco II XLT dead stock that had been sitting for 7 years and I quickly fell in love with is so i brought it home.

I decided that it was going to be a camping and fishing truck that would take me where ever I wanted to I started modifying it. I ended up putting the differentials from a 94 explorer Dana 35 and ford 8.8 on it. 4in rough country lift and rebuilt the engine as well as a new clutch. For tires I came across a great deal of some 37 in Goodyear MTRs with the mickey Thompson simulated bead locks so that is what is on it. Currently I am getting everything together anywhere from tool boxes to my high lift stereo and some other things. Here it is...

Well over all im not horribly worried, d35 with the dana 35 jeep hubs have been pretty known to handle 35 without a problem. So im pushing its limits with 37's but over all i dont rockcrawl much. I like getting out on long trails and just rolling. Out here in el paso their is allot of sand and with weather how it has been so dry its even worse. When it does rain tho seems like everything washes out so my main concern is being able to go through a was out with out worrying of getting stuck due to not having the appropriate approach angles so with the 37's jeep hubs dana 35 I hope not to have much of a problem. Also here in the near future i will probably be putting in a Detroit locker in the 8.8 which is also going to get braced and a Aussie locker up front. 5.13 gears coming soon also which leaves the gears perfect since its a 5 speed on the freeway.:sombrero:

Cool Cool. Not too far from me. Im on the eastside too, by George Dieter and Edgemere.

Also a little off topic, but where do you go for like trail riding, and just plain old offroading?

I go trailing off of chaparral and Santa Teresa, We have followed the train track to this really small city in new mexico. Also Dona Ana and Huspeth county. I have some land off of montana past wacco tanks close to Guadalupe Mountain state park and im excited to explore the back roads of huspeth county but the only bad thing is i dont want to be the only rig going since my buddies dont like exploring much, they only mainly off road. Also have to have a good amount of gas cans on you cause their isnt many gas stations once passed dell city.
