Much better, still think I will wind up pulling the 2 degree shims out but gonna see how it feels first.

Workin exhaust today! Had to fix a lot of crappy work from when I paid to have it done.

One side done, now need to buy some steel to make a new crossmember so I can run rhe other side.

pretty tight! Why the heck were those holes so small? Is that what they were covering up with the bigger pipe?

Supposed to be the crossover tube but they went half azz on it. I am suprised they even did that much.


Made a template for the crossmember, gonna have two or three tubes across then put a skid plate across the whole bottom like a jeep.

Should have good protection and plenty of room for the exhaust.

Dont claim to be a pro, but it aint gonna fall apart.

So both supports a welded up, now gotta cut and drill the angle iron to bolt to the frame and weld the supports to that, then cross braces and last tranny mount bracket. Then paint it all up and make a skid plate to bolt to it and it will be done!!

So that means more to come......

If you don't mind a welding observation: It is hard to tell exactly from the picture, but it looks a bit like the bead is stacking on top of the tubing and could use better penetration. You might try experimenting with a slightly hotter setting on your welder.
...and just to clairify: I am not discussing his shaft and penetration in the same topic.

That should be great for a normal person, bur I aint normal and I got 10' of tube left!!

Lets add three cross braces just because.

Had to check it and see. It tore the tube and can see slight burn marks on the inside so I think it will hold, but never hurts to check!!

All done, just needs paint. Gonna add the skid plate later on down the road.
