Well, Just a little update.

Just got a little tax money back today so I pulled the trigger on a set of 255/80/17 BFG KM2s and hopefully they will be here before Saturday. Tomorow I will order the shackle flip setup Some front king pin parts and a FSM so I can figure out a few small wiring issues.

Maybe I missed it, but how much lift (if any) do you get from those new spring mounts? That truck looks killer with the 3rd gen wheels, now I want them on my 2ng gen!

Cool Dodge, I like the 12 valve Cummins best motor ever. I also scored two toopers off of Denvers Craigslist. The first one I got free then sold it for $150, then bought my second one for $300, and the side windows open up like the rear hatch.
I have a bed slide in mine, I plan on using low profile totes on it, then build my bed just over the totes. My bed will be built to the bed slide also, so everything will slide out, and also come out of the truck fairly easy so I could still use my bed for other things.
I had to put a halt on my build for awhile, I have been raising my new wifes two little grand kids the last year and now we are fitting for custody for them, we are the little girls only hope to having a decent life. So, I might be turning my Dodge into an SUV and cutting the cab out and putting a seat and heaters in the back. Time will tell.
If you need any imput on the bed idea and storage, I might be able to help.

The shackle flip setup I'm getting would be about 5" if I left everything else alone but I will dump the blocks I have in the rear now so it will stay the same.

I think you'll really like the KM2's. I can't say enough good about mine :bike_rider:

I know I liked the quarter tread 35s i have on the back, had plenty of bite about anywhere, but they did turn into skates if you got the back end out a little to far on the slick stuff. Shoot I probly won't know what to think with 4 new skinny ones.:smiley_drive:

Got em mounted today after work and took some crappy pics after I got home.

So far so good, I only got about 25 miles on em but I like em. It takes a lot less steering input and steers easier. And there quiet, well they have a slight hum but nothing bad, Cant even hear it with the windows up.

You certainly replaced the 1st gen with something worthy, very nice. Would be great to see some more pics of that somewhere on the board. Build pics, specs? - hopefully. Might use a better suited thread or even start a new one, thanks for posting.
