Homemade power wagen
I welded a 68 vw bus to my 91 dodge ram diesel 4x4
With a poptop!
Its awsome.....people are always takin pictures of it

Yes the cab is open
I cut off the rear and roof ofthe cab cut the bed away and left the floor.
18" longer than stock so i lengthened the frame
Patched everything in with galv. sheet metal
Stretched the rear door
My next one im building with two buses and swapping the steering box out to make it forward cab with 37" hummer run flats.
Pros- all enclosed lots of room
Cons- i get waived down by every hippy along the way

Are there passenger seats with seatbelts in the rear cargo area?

Something like this would be my ultimate dream expedition vehicle. Good job.

Ok now thats just cool. I've always wanted to put a Scamp camper or something similar on a flatbed truck just for fun. Same with a pontoon boat too.
