Needs a set of hood vents - not scoops, vents

I got these from a Ford T-Bird Turbo Coupe for less than $5 at a junkyard - make a pattern, cut a hole, glue them in place (I used black RTV 5 years ago,and it's still holding strong)

Help me out here I'm trying to figure out what it needs. I want it to stand out, but at the same time I don't want it looking too shady???? What do you guys think?

First of all welcome to ExPo.
After reading through all the chatter the question still remains what do you want? You said you want to stand out but don't want to look shady. What is Shady to you? The Murdered-out look? Chrome widgets all over the place? Big subwoofers? Neon? Lots of stickers?
I also get that you like the extreme offroading look possibly rock crawling but you don't want to offroad your truck because you like to keep it looking nice. Maybe more about you and what you want out of the truck would get this thread on track. Do you want to hunt or fish with this truck? Car camp in the UP? Haul kayaks? Keep it at the cabin on Lake Minocqua and haul fire wood once a year? Sounds like winter trips to Granite Peak are out since you are not driving it in the winter. What I'm getting at is we can help on this build if you give us a little direction just more than not looking shady. Once again welcome and get out and explore.

Why not take the money you would spend "customizing" it and use that to actually go somewhere nice? Throw your camping gear in the back and head to Big Bend NP in Texas, I hear it's pretty nice this time of year.

Or wait until March and head to Moab. Lots of cool things to do with a nice Toyota 4x4 in Moab....

Rear cap, 33X10.5 BFG ATs, ARB Bull Bar, and snorkel. These rims would rock without being flashy.:victory:

so things to change/add purely for looks or you gonna use the truck for something?
Looks, I'm hoping on not accidentally entering a mud whole. If you know what I meen.

Maybe you should change your username then. :coffeedrink:

Just bustin' ya bawls...

33x10.50r15 tires fit a Toyota pickup so well. (255/85r16 also do if you have 16's) So, I would do something like that. But everything that I think is aesthetically pleasing is functional, I guess I look at function first in a vehicle. This is my truck right when I got my 33x10.50's on.
