So Im finally back. Been off working a ton. Finally got my bilstein 4600s installed. Tinted my kc hilites with a 35% yellow. Looking for a locker or LSD for the rear. Also installed KO2 265/75R16 and they look great and perform ever better.

I'm really leaning towards KO2s as my next tire. Post up some pics!

Cheapest traction option for our trucks is a TRD Kazuma LSD unit for $300. Probably the next best option is a Eaton Truetrac. No clutches to wear out. If the truck never lifts a rear tire than an LSD would be a good investment overall.

As far as lockers go I'll be running an ARB eventually instead of an auto locker for numerous reasons. Selectable, no funny tire wear or weird sounds, functions like stock when not engaged: best option for a truck that sees a lot of pavement between outings. The only con is the cost. These are the most expensive. That's why I don't have one yet lol.

Will do BullFrog! finally had some nice warm weather to install my front shocks as I have needed my angle grinder to cut the old shock top nut off as they are stuck on since being a oem shock with 166k on them.

Really excited for some bigger tires to tell you the truth. I have been looking at a set of 15" wheels off a 1st gen 4runner for $50. Paint them black and wait for summer to grab a set of 33x10.50...

Look forward to seeing more of your build. I have a '98 Tacoma 3.4L and have the Bilstein 4600's recently put on the rear (didnt notice much of a difference, but I think that is because I am in need of rear leafs as well, which should also be going on in a week or so, hopefully a noticeable difference). Have the fronts being paired with OME 880 coils on the front, also waiting on shipment arrival. How do you like the 4600's so far? Any noticeable difference? I didn't want anything to crazy, I will gain maybe 1.5" in lift overall with leafs and coils paired with them. Just needed something to withstand basic offroading and hauling camp gear. Thanks!

Tires look great! What tint did you use for the lights?

I used some 35% yellow vinyl tint off ebay. Came in a 4ft x 7" wide. Cleaned the lights, sprayed the lens with light soaped water. Dipped the vinyl in water to help fight the sticky side. After I got it centered and a little dry I used my stove to heat the vinyl and stay in place. Took a couple tries to get it right. Not hard at all, already making my money back on the purchase of vinyl by doing friend subaru and other vehicles fog lights.

Liam, I would have to say I noticed less 'bucking' from the rear. As I know I too need leafs as well or a add-a-leaf would help as well. BullFrog was talking about adding a PROGRESSIVE leaf pack to his T100. Im leaning the same way with my build as it would save me hundreds of dollars on new leafs and beef up my ride in the rear. I have a friend with a 04' Taco DCSB and he is running OME with 883's/ Darak leafs, rides like a dream!

Went by TOYTEC LIFTS today down in NorthGlenn, CO. Awesome builds all over as I walked up. Feeling lie my vehicle was a straight turd. I was wrong, they came out to check the mysterious T100 out and were impressed with low miles and pretty clean. Also picked up some 15x7 wheels in fair condition. I mean at $50, came with all 4 black/red caps and all lug nuts. Now if anybody has 1 of these for sale.. haha

With a little elbow grease and some silver or black paint these new shoes will look great! I'm just excited to fit them with 33x10.50 BFG KO2!

When I put new Bilsteins on my otherwise stock 4wd T100 I noticed a huge ride improvement. A local street has regular speed bumps and the new shocks seem to help front compliance on compression, and almost completely eliminate the rear "kick" on rebound. Much better with big potholes and freeway hop as well. My truck has P-metric all-season tires and actually rides quite well even compared to my wife's VW.
