Well I'm finally lifting my truck after 3 years. TOYTEC 2" BJ SPACERS and 31" AAL. Hooked it up pretty good with $10 off and a t-shirt.. lol Now I just need to sell my tires to order my 33x10.5r15 KO2.

33x10.50 tires will clear just fine with no lift on stock backspace. The spacers will give you 1.5" of lift but I'd back off the torsions about .5" or so. But technically you could relax the bars for no lift and just enjoy the extra travel. Just depends what you want. The closer to stock height the easier it will be on your steering components. 1" lift would be a good compromise I think. You'll get a better ride the lower the truck sits.

How did your seal install go?
I'm still trying to noodle out the logistics of either pulling my shell altogether or using my floor jack and some scrap wood to prop it up just enough to slide the new seal and silicone on.

Having the topper all the way off worked best. You for sure need at least 4 people as the fiberglass and full glass windows on 4 corners was something like 400 pounds.

Was it really that heavy? My bro-in-law and I put mine on ourselves and I'm not a big guy. Probably weighed 200 lbs at most. I'm sure there are lots of differences between brands tho.

It is just hard to everything perfect to no pull the brand weather stripping off with 2 people. More hands was just easier for us.

Picked up my ToyTec 2" BJ SPACER/ADD-A-LEAF kit today. Great to see that these are a DEAVER leaf product as well. Scott was awesome for making sure everything was going to work just fine. He was also excited to have T100 there to check spec on rear leafs and other odd ball questions customers may bring up in the future.

Just install the Bj spacer and leave the t-bars alone. You will get the same ride as before but be a tad taller. It's what I did on my 4Runner.

Finally took off my mud flaps front and rear. Really looks way more aggressive!

Finally also got my Bilsteins installed on the front and check if the snap ring is doing it's job. Ended up looking fine!

Well I liked what I had seen online and decided to take off my lower valance.. Thoughts?

Think I will replace my sway bar end links while installing the spacer kit. Also thinking I would do a new upper and lower ball joints. Thoughts?

Bilsteins look great on there!
I removed my valance as well but only because I had a minor run in with a stationary car *ahem* so my tires would rub when I turned. I think it would look better if you removed the frame 'horns' (or extentions rather) and then welded some plate to cover up the ugly holes. That's what I would be doing if I wasn't getting a steel bumper soon.
If you are installing the BJS might as well swap in new ball joints. Already in there, not much extra work for peace of mind. I got Beck-Arnley brand from Amazon (after confirming part # on Rockauto) and I got all Sankei 555 stuff for 40-50 bucks a ball joint. Killer deal!

My truck didn't have mudflaps when I bought it but with 245/75's the spray isn't too much of a problem (for me, I dunno about people following me). But eventually if I keep the truck (I'm getting new Tacoma curiosity again) I figure I'll eventually get new tires, 265's, and maybe Bushwhacker flares (the narrower ones. Anyone had experience with these and do they keep the body sides cleaner? BTW I like it without the air dam ...

What bumper are you going with BullFrog? These new shocks give a night and day change to the way my truck rides. How have i gone so long!
