I am guessing it is only USA owners that were sent the offer as I never received any email about this. There are plenty of people I know that would take up this offer if it were available to international subscribers.

I only activated my subscription last weekend and I purchased the full package including GEOS. SPOT unit was imported from the US too.

Ordered mine... they way they run it is you pay for he spot & they send an activation code for free service & tracking to your e-mail.

I'm in Montreal, Canada. Called the number earlier today to ask if it's valid for new customers outside the U.S, somebody is supposed to call me back on this. I have to say I had good service so far, very polite and helpful. I'll post their answer when I get it.

I believe they are honouring the deal for members of this forum, that was generally what was implied when I spoke to the international sales manager. In fact it seems to depend on the judgement of the sales person you speak to.

I think spot got all their ducks in a row now. I spent the last couple days calling, trying to talk to different sales people and I got the same answer from every one. The deal is for existing customers only and the limit is three. Somebody want to buy me one? :D

They still haven't called me back two days after they said they would, I will call again this afternoon.

If it was intented only to existing customers they probably didn't expect their ad to be published on ExPo but they gave it to some new customers so they should give it to everybody now.

I called back and was told they had not got back to me yet because they're still checking whether the offer is only for existing customers or for everyone. There seems to be some confusion over there.......wait until I remind them I'm from Canada :)
