I saw it from Potosi, wanted to go, but my companeros de viaje didnt care to go... we went by it twice actually. And when we were in Galeana for lunch, a fella invited us to go to his house and stay there... "The big blue house by the lake... " I'll remember that one.

Now, Potosi. I wont ever go up that sucker on a motorcycle ever again.:shakin:---- I couldnt find the baby sucking a pacifier smiley....

Next time you go there , take the trail from Galeana to Casillas them to Cebolla mountain pass ,from there to chipitin.
all this is another area that is a must.

OK, let me look for a map , also if you are going again soon ,
so you wont go to the same places you can follow diferent trails ,
thouh some have water crossings so I dont know if motorcycly will be a problem but I have seen motorcycles there before.

so let say you get to Monterrey, , from there you go to Jame coahila, here you have 2 options ,,take the easy way to laguna de sanchez "paved" for this you go to "los lirios" them laguna de sanchez.,or you can take the offroad trail , for this, from Jame you keep going till you almost hit Casillas, there is a Ejido called las trancas, there you take the mountain pass to laguna de sanchez,,this is an incredible pass !! dangerous ! but well worth it.
between las trancas and laguna de sanchez there is LA cebolla, nice place, 10 k feet above sea level., once you get to laguna de sanchez you go to cieneguilla, from there you go to las pozas del chipitin "great water crossing trail that will take you to awsome waterfalls.. now that you seen the chipitin you can go to cola de caballo them monterrey again. or you hate paved roads, once you see chipitin ,go back to cieneguilla and take the trail cortacaminos to la huasteca passsing thru La rompepicos. also you can take this trail to start instead of going from monterrey to jame on paved road.
so you making like a big circle , .
let me get together some pictures for you and will send them or post them here. and when you go ,dont hesitate to email me, I have a plcae up there in the mountains .

Forgot to mention,,
the trail from el salto to laguna de sanchez is imposible to cross on vehicle right now, it was damaged by the last huricane ,blocking by 60 foot boulders,

but in motorcycle you can do it.
