Adding supplemental Fuse Box in 2.5 Montero?

Anyone ever mounted another fuse box in the engine to deal with accessories? I realized that an intermittent starting problem was due to a broken(ok, not completely broken yet) positive lead to the battery. As I was looking in the engine bay I noticed that all the extra wires, fuses, and relays look like crap. I mounted a Blue Sea 6-position fuse box in my 4runner to handle a bunch of accessories, but when I look at the right side of the engine bay I don't see any spots that jump out that wouldn't be compromised by hood hinges, or hood clearance. Don't want to mount it in the cab since everything is already wired in the engine. Any pics would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Josh

Sorry, I should have specified this was more to get an idea of where folks with gen 2 or 2.5 Monteros wedged the fuse box since space is so tight. I've installed one before, but in a 4runner there is a lot more room as I was able to build a bracket to hold 4 relays and the blue sea fuse box in one area.

Is there clearance below the hood to mount it on the factory fuse box cover? That's where I was thinking of putting one.

I don't know it would be close I think given the height of the blue sea box, also it would make getting into the factory fuse box a pain since you'd have 6 separate wires going into Blue Sea and a big wire going to battery. I'd think you would need some extra slack built in. I should have it by tomorrow, so I'll check then.

Great question, I am thinking about doing this at some point.

Would like to know the good location as well.
