Adventure Tool Company's "RhinoRide60" Land Cruiser: Part 2 (2023)

It's funny where your mind goes during the first real snow storm of 2025 at 8500 feet in the Rockies while sipping a bourbon in the ATC Design Studio and looking at the TR sitting in the corner of the shop......

The first Triumph TR-6 Overland Vehicle!

....I need more ice and relight my cigar....

It’s a bit early for cigars and bourbon, but the TR 6 is great.
Yeah.....it is but, my delusion was about 8pm the other night while goofing off in the Shop.

I might add, it's dark as heck at 8pm at 8500 feet, in December and then having to stumble back up to the house during a snow storm (which ended up killing our power for 3 days!) really makes you feel alive! IMG_0156.jpeg

Love the TR6! Mine was BRG. Bought it 10/76, next to the last one the dealer in Richmond VA got. Ownership came with issues as well as pleasures but it's the only car I ever dreamed about after it was gone.

Thanks and great story!

Yeah, while my friends wanted Camaros and MustangsI fell in love with the TR-6 and the sound of that exhaust!

It took awhile but, in 1996 my son was 2 years old and this one popped up in the Sunday paper auto section. I loaded him up in his car seat we went to look at it...and, I bought it. He's now 32 and I've had both for 30 years.

It's been as reliable as my Land cruiser and I should have it out next summer!
