You might want to advise your guests that they will need to stop at Sutcliffe or Nixon to pick up tribal permits for camping, off-roading, boating, fishing anywhere on the reservation.

We have already received a group permit from the Piute Tribal Council for our event, hence the need for people to RSVP.

I'll be enclosing permit information when people RSVP. To complete your list of places permits can be obtained, they are also available in:

Wadsworth, Reno, Sparks, Spanish Springs and Gardnerville

Cheers

Chuck Falkerson will be guiding a trip into the Black Rock Desert. Chuck is a Reno local who has traveled the Black Rock many times and knows those secret spots the rest of us miss. He will be doing recon. next week to make sure all the landmarks are where they should be and haven't moved over the winter months:) This will be an SUV run to enjoy the beauty of the desert, visit some rock paintings, and enable you to make the final decision on if you want to attend Burning Man or not!

I'm very interested in this. I'll be moving to Reno next month. I'll email you when I know how many people will be attending with me.

great if someone could record and post where exactly these spots are that would be awesome if possible...?

Hopefully the attached map will help give some perspective on the location of Pyramid Lake. This is one of my favorite spots in North America and I'm honored to have the chance to share it with you.

If you need more detailed info let me know.

For the Black Rock Desert run we will be entering via Gerlach (see map on last post) I have attached a more detailed map of Pyramid Lake with the Base Camp and 4X4 trails marked.
