My Fuso FG 4x4 is now four years old.
From the beginning the AC was not working really well.
But the Fuso dealer in San Diego, when complaining and after checking said everything is fine.
Now the whole AC system is not working anymore.
Had it checked in La Paz, Mexico: diagnosis: the compressor is broken.
While this truck has been idle most of the four years and therefore the AC has been used very little.
How to get a new compressor as it will be more economic to have it installed by a private mechanic compared to a Fuso dealer???

This a/c system was addressed in the early stages, and we found the a/c filters under the dash extremely dirty. Owner was instructed on how to maintain those in the conditions and remote areas he was in to avoid these type of failures.

From the beginning the a/c filters were kept meticulously clean. KMTC confuses FG’s here. Fact is that a 2007 Fuso FG with only 24.000 miles and carefully maintained (not by KMTC anymore) has a broken compressor and the thread is where to find a new compressor.
