Took some shots yesterday of the tablet mount. This is the RAM X mount, ~4" arm, and a 3/8" studded ball. There is a long strip of metal underneath to distribute the load and keep it from jiggling around. It's pretty solid. I ran a dedicated micro usb behind the dash and had it come out of the cubby hole below the radio. When it's not in use I can just push it back in the hole. Again, this is an 06 so it'll look different to your 12.

I use my steering wheel controls for the radio most of the time anyway and know my stations so it blocking the radio isn't a problem for me.

I like the mounting set up in that it looks nice and robust.

Back from a couple nights in the mountains:

Hmm, new tires are shipped. 21,000 miles Piss poor milage, but I did not have my speedometer calibrated properly (still don't), hot roads, poor alignment and a toe in until I found the right alignment shop (Semi shop). Now I have life time alignments for an extra $100 over the the first alignment. Four trips in so far and they even straightened my steering after Chaco Canyon.

Final and third layer of epoxy on the table, ah it is pretty!

A little organizing under the settee:

That's a good deal on the alignment for a vehicle that gets offroad frequently.I didn't know semi shops would work on pick up sized trucks.I hear a lot of good things about running 19.5 wheels and commercial tires for fuel mileage and long wear.Would that work for you?I know they have some commercial offroad tires for 19.5 wheels.I'm just not sure they would have the flex or traction without running them nearly flat for traction.

I ran 19.5's on my last truck and they had great wear, but were not great performers off pavement even with aggressive tread on them. They ran at too high of a psi and were just too stiff, especially in the mud or really loose dirt. I knew these tires and wheel size were going to be a trade off when I bought them. If the next set does not do any better, I'll be looking at Michelin's then, but they only come in a 41" tire if I'm not mistaken for this rim. That would require a lift of some sort.
