Alaskan Camper seals

I am looking into the Alaskan campers and I was wondering how well do they seal out the cold and bugs. I understand it is a two flap system. Does it work good?

Alaskan camper seals

I would class their performance as not as good as you would like but better then you would think. If they are kept in good condition they work fine under most conditions. The biggest problem I have is between the two sections of the back door. Considering the other strengths of the Alaskan design its nothing that would stop me from getting another.

Thanks for the reply. Yes the Alaskan looks like a quality camper and I really like the hard sides idea. I had just heard some comments about the seals and maybe it was from owners with older models or ones that just needed to be changed.
Do you have the cab over model or the other. I am concidering the cabover on a flat desk on a one ton. Concidering something along Carly's build that I read about on this site.
Do you have any insights or issues thart I need to keep in mind when concidering the Alaskan.
Thank you for you comments
