These have been a long time coming......seems so long ago when the boys paid for the new moulds but as you can imagine there is quite a lot of development involved . They are the new 19.5' x 8.25 alloys......about 15 kg lighter than the equivalent 19.5" steel and come with proper wheel nuts to suit the thick alloy centers. Available in six stud with different offsets to allow either Isuzu NPS or Fuso FG single wheel conversions with matched front and rear track.

Haha. Nah...it had more to do with QA issues on some earlier batches of steel wheels so an alloy alternative was always going to be needed in the catalogue. As far as I know, the steel wheels will continue to be offered particularly for the really heavy duty applications like the beach buses and mining vehicles. Don't know much more than that. I haven't actually seen them yet...still buried at school. I believe the first production batch will be ready at the end of the month.

BTW They are only available in 19.5" of course.

I hope to get over to ATW at the end of the week and take some pics. There has been plenty of action down there that I've missed with a batch of commercial Sprinter motorhomes being built for military convoy escorts, some new school buses on NPS chassis and a couple more NPS Global Warriors under construction.

John failed to mention that these rims are rated at 3000Kg each, so they are legal for the maximum GVM of the Fuso and Isuzu trucks.

I could almost certainly say that would be the case. I hope to get down to ATW in a couple of days and I will confirm this then.

Well I gotta say we are all lucky to have many options now as opposed to when I was doing my build where we had, lets see.....um...............almost no options!
