Alternatives to standard air quick connects?

Hi everyone,

I have some 150psi outlets in my Jeep for airing up tires, and eventually will have a 90-100psi outlet for air tools as well. I find the standard air fittings very difficult to connect under high pressure. I know there are many non-standard air fittings that exist, and I'm looking for suggestions. I don't mind spending a few bucks for quality fittings that will last a lifetime.

Thanks,
js.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, and I have no idea if any of these are easier to connect/disconnect than others. I thought I'd post it for reference, since I've found it pretty useful for identifying odd-ball couplers in the past. BTW, sorry for the huge pic, but when I resized it to make it smaller, the print was barely legible.

How about those things found on trucks? (plug em in and then rotate to lock)
Will try to find a pic of them....

Just install a ball valve before the female end. Any of the QD's will start to leak after a while so you'll be ahead of the game anyway.

Thanks for the suggestion. This is actually what I started doing, but wanted something a little nicer. I dug up an 'auto coupler' from my spares box which is really nice -- the sleeve stays retracted and pops back when you plug into it. After looking around a bit, it seems the Tomco is even better, with an on/off and purge feature. They're a little pricey, so hope they're worth it! :)
