Alu-Cab Has Landed In The USA!

Hello Rino,

Do you have any pictures of the Alu-Cab Gen 3 Expedition Tent mounted on something closer to a Land Cruiser? All I could find was a small picture of one mounted on a Jeep, which frankly looked a little oversized for the vehicle.

Sorry for the delayed response Yes we will have a fully kitted Tacoma featuring the Alu Cab canopy with loaded cup boards, Expedition 3 RTT, Shadow Awning and drawer system.

I can see if our team member Chuck will remove his tent so we can snap some shots of the Expedition 3 n his LC100 if you would like?

It's great seeing the shadow awning (mounted in my trailer none the less). I hope the Howling Moon RTT I want hurries up and gets in country so I can finally take delivery of the trailer!

Alu-cab landed at my house a couple of weeks ago. So stoked! :victory:

Now I just need to figure how to mount this thing to my CampTeq pop-top.

Rino, any pics of the Shadow Awn mounted on your JK? That's the route I'm likely going and I'll be using the Rhino Rack (I know you have the similar AEV rack made by Rhino). Also, if I'm understanding this right, there is no wall to completely close in the wall system with a panel to the right of # 1 in this photo....?

Correct, that area is typically where the rear tailgate of the vehicle is so it is left without a wall.

can you or alucab provide a definitive product list regarding drawers? Id like to see the configurations that will be available in the US. Im sure you will let us know when those poptops are made available for us

Currently we have the following drawer setups from AluCab in stock, JK double drawer system and Tacoma short (48") and long bed (57"). However I can order anything you have in mind

Also, we have had an over whelming amount of requests for the pop tops and plan to import an order of them maybe mid summer!

Alu Cab Shadow we fit last week on a Toyota FJ with a Baja Rack. For this application we used mounts now available from FourTreks to clamp the awning to the existing Baja Rack without interfering with the current James Baroud RTT. The FJ with a Right Hand Side Shadow Awning has excellent coverage ranging from the over the passenger side front door fully opened to over the tailgate fully opened.

Just put my shadow awning on, yes it's awesome. Planning on adding some color changing and dimming led light strips on the support arms for some mood lighting ($20 off amazon plus a $4 splitter to run 2 strands off one controller)

Correct Alu Cab offers pop top conversions for the Defender and LC Troopy's.
