I thought I might go out of town this weekend, but if I get this back by Friday, I may just hang out at home and work on it instead

Question on Bolt Patterns

Alright, I'm trying to sell the wheels off the doner van, it is a 99. Did the vans change bolt patterns during the 99-04 years? Or are they the standard 'normal', non-metric? I'd like to be able to answer this to prospective buyers (without, you know, going and measuring or checking or anything)

New Paint !!!! OK no holding out on the pictures

I'm dreaming of paint right now on my beast. My brother has been spraying AmerShield a lot and I'm thinking flat and gloss combo. Got to get mine painted too. OK now cough up the pictures. :)

Thought it going to be ready last Friday, but I got the call that they wanted to do a bit more work on the back doors, and were not happy yet. (Heavy sigh) Had to go camping last weekend instead, in a tent, and the old faithful Tacoma. Pics when I get 'em...

So, I got the call, heading down in about an hour to go pick up the van - Pictures to follow!

In the meantime, I updated my for sale thread for doner van parts, put it the 'vehicle parts' portion of the Expo world. The pile is getting smaller, but perhaps there are still things of interest to the van folks? Probably a couple more lurkers since I last spammed my own stuff, check it out.

Paint Pics

So the whole time my wife and I were discussing paint, I always wanted straight white, and she always wanted some kind of striping scheme. We go to pick it up today, and I say "Wow, it needs a stripe", and she replies "Looks great white!". Go figure.

A little heavy on the armored cash transport look now...

I encourage you clever photoshoppers to work with that center picture, and come up with something catchy. And Chris, when you read this, can you send me a quote for some front bushwhacker fender flares?

When I went to look at it the day it got sprayed, I thought they had done a great job of masking. Overspray, however, is like fog, and everything - bumpers, sliders, mirrors, etc - is painted rattlecan semi-flat black. So, when the overspray gets on it, it shows like crazy, and they cant just rub it off. The paint itself looks great - I will probably need to touch up most black spray painted surfaces myself. Maybe I just need some runs through the desert and get that new-paint smell worked off.

I think it looks great just the way it is right now! IMHO a stripe will get you right back at the ambulance look.

Wow, that looks amazing! That may be my favorite "attainable" expo vehicle ever-

I wouldn't change a thing, but then again I own 3 white vehicles, so I may be a little biased.
