Anderson Powerpole hype?

Seeing how so many people rave about APP connectors, I bought in and got the set from Powerwerx. The crimping, and putting together the connectors works well.

My gripe is with how EASY they come apart!! Specifically, I have the chassis mount and cig-style plug mounts shown here:

https://powerwerx.com/panelpole-panel-mount-powerpole-housing

https://powerwerx.com/powerpole-connector-chassis-mount-4

But you can't use those little retaining clips with these. Plus, how inconvenient is it to have to plug one of these in order to make a solid connection? https://powerwerx.com/powerpole-connector-retention-clip

Am I missing something? APP connectors come apart with less than a pound of force. I suspect the vibration of hitting a pothole would dislodge the connection no problem.

Now my current dilemma is daisy-chaining. I'd like to combine 4 APP connectors into a single +/- pair. What are my simple options other than splice & soldering? Y-Connectors? Reducing butt connectors?

LOL. my gripe with the 50A version of APPs it that they are almost too difficult to separate!

just got to grasp them firmly and give a little side / lateral wiggle as you pull. I'm having no trouble at all with the bigger SB175 connectors.

OP should change his topic title, APPs work great.
