Pretty weak reviews - looks promising, but it seems to have a fair number of quirks

That's a lot of cash for a gingerbread-based system. For less money I'll use an outboard tablet and interface it to my existing bluetooth stereo

Cool radio. I didn't see those when I went with my pioneer app radio. It mirrors my phone and can control the phone from the head unit.

At this point I no longer want to spend a bunch of money on something that permanently installs in my dash. My mobile devices contain my music and movie library, will have better support from developers, and can be upgraded very easily when the time comes. Any more, what I want from a head unit is to install easy and then disappear. If it had a built-in universal mount for tablets/phones, so much the better.

I was looking at one for my suburban. But I think im just going to replace the headunit with a dvd system for display more than playing movies. The radio in it now is crapping out and the front channels come and go. So im going to replace it soon.

There are Android 4.x 2 DIN head units on ebay as well. I'm hoping to hack one into the XJ before our big road trip to Newfoundland in July but we'll see if that happens or not. I'll post my impressions once I've played with it a while.
