Thinking about changing up my 04 Tacoma Dbl cab, Ive read all the different threads about this and it seems most want the most lift possible (2" +) and the abilitity to carry massive weight, I dont. I would like to freshen up the suspension with a small lift and fit 265/75 tires. I have pretty much decided to go the OME route, Im guessing if I go medium springs Ill get under 2", a better ride both on/off road. Am I thinking along the right lines, will medium springs be ok on the Dbl cab and still give some lift?
Truck is daily driver, use it for juants to Utah and all over Colorado, been on most trails in San Juans and easier stuff Utah, most weight it sees in the bed are coolers and camping gear (200lbs?). Maybe add sliders for protect.
Trying to stay away from problems/expense that come with larger lifts and larger tires.
Does this sound like a sound idea? Suggetions commenst appreciated.
