Truck is look good! Nice work. So many parts to choose from, I'm in a similar boat, 4.56 Supercharged. But my truck is a pig. Switched out all to tube bumpers to save weight, and going to swap some of my skids to Pelfreybilts ALuminums. Looking forward to seeing your progression.

Thanks. I bet your truck is as heavy as mine with the camper on! Plus you're running 35s. I can't complain about power at this point. Climbing the passes around here, it hasn't been an issue of how fast I want to go or how many cars I want to pass, just how much fuel I want to burn.
People around here keep asking when I'm getting steel bumpers and a swing out carrier etc, but I'm not. The spare is staying underneath, the rear bumper likely staying stock. Any skids and eventually the front bumper will be aluminum. The truck is heavy enough already!

So the light on switch you want to activate with dimmer needs to be independently wired from switch activation, in which I assume it is. So dimmer light on wire green, then your green and white stripe wire is the wire that is variable ground for that circuit. Your solid battery ground wire will be for the top light on switch that is wired to switch activation. If that makes sense. You can find the dimmer wire using a test light and dimmer switch also.
Cameron

These switches only had 4 leads actually, only 1 ground.

A little exploring this morning looking for camping spots close to home in the tillamook state forest.

And a stop by the suspension bridge at the forestry center.

Hmm, Well then I think You are stuck with what it does. Unless they offer one independently wired for the bottom light.
Cameron.

I think so, but I don't think its an issue. They aren't that bright, and even with the other lights dimmed at night they are not bothersome. I could always put a dimmer on that circuit where it connects to the arb harness if it bothered me.

I've been back home since Wednesday. The camper is off of the truck, in the garage for some truck maintenance and misc stuff.

Today I bought turnbuckles that seem more sturdy than what FWC provided, with closed ends. I also bought "serated locking nuts" for the turnbuckles to help keep them from loosening. I removed the Toyota backup camera from the tailgate and mounted it under the camper. I replaced the 1/2 and 3/8" timbren spacers with a single 1" spacer.

I still have a bunch of other stuff to take care of, but after being outside at the fair yesterday my allergies are killing me. At some point I still need to flush and refill the differentials, change the engine oil, trim shock mounts, relocate exhaust, inventory maps and many other things. I'm sure I won't get everything done. I need to find my Trasharoo and see if I can come up with a mounting plan, and decide if I want to mount my 29lb hi lift somewhere or buy a heavy duty bottle jack.

We are camping Thursday through Sunday this week, and I really need to pack for my long upcoming trip. So much too, and my little girl is being very clingy and demanding.

Working on maintenance and misc stuff today.

So far I've flushed and filled the differentials, and rotated the tires (all five). I repacked the third member and front diff and shipped them back to ECGS for core refund. I pulled the one way breather from the rear diff and routed it to the bed cubby using an aironboard.com breather tube kit. At some point I'll reroute the t case, trans and front diff with the other filtered ends with this kit. However they are mounted up higher and less of a concern.

Zip tied to the brake line and up to the cubby (black line).

Thanks. It's mostly the angle. It had to have a bend to allow for suspension travel and they was how the line keeps shaping itself. It is still not routed the way I wanted but the supplied air line was JUST long enough as is. I need to lift the truck via the frame and see if it's long enough to zip tie it to the speed sensor wires.

Awesome build thread. How has the camper worked for you so far? Do you have any interior pics with the top popped up? Keep up the good work!

Thanks! The camper is awesome, we love it so far. Love the floor plan as it leaves open space for cooking/cleaning/toilet etc with the bed made. There is more storage that pictures lead you to believe, though it does require storing bedding and clothes etc on the dinette when closed. There is a bit of shuffling around involved, still working on organization.

I don't have many good pictures of the interior, but I'll try to grab a few when I load the camper back up this afternoon.

Camera location when loaded

Camera view. My garage needs serious attention...

And a fairing that is probably nearly useless. I'll tweak it and see if it seems to make a difference. Just trying to cut down on the wind between the cab and camper, so I'll probably move it back, maybe eventually cut a new piece of plastic that's taller.

Sammich!
I like where you're taking this build!
Have you gotten the Blue Sea panel yet?
I'm building an aux. harness for my rig with one right now and it's impressively built, they're solid six ways to Sunday and easy to play with.
