Coen-I would have guessed that they were manual adjusters as the "teeth" on the star wheel are square, rather than angled or "saw tooth" shaped. The auto adjusters would be mirrored, typically. Again, I am not a Toyota expert. With your manual units I would not worry either way.

Have you worked out the tank switching schema yet?

I'm having a nice small manual switch under my seat in my mind.

Ever forward, Coen. Looking wonderful.

I have a question about your wheels. They appear to be the "old fashioned" split rim style, with the removable outer ring. You must then use tubes in the tires, yes? They are a great system, when properly maintained and handled. I have the same style wheels on my 1973 IH truck. I like being able to change the tire wherever I need to, without a special machine. I am sure others will sing dirges of doom about them to you, but the risk they possess is directly proportional to the disrespect they are given.

Keep the update coming!

They are always amazed that we only keep one spare. Almost being frowned upon. But I have two or three new tubes I keep somewhere. If things go really bad, I can change four times. The others keep two tires mostly. Sometimes even only one and one without the rims...

Hi Coen, how's the build going? I'm assuming your very busy trying to get it completed, but we're lacking updates! I've been checking back everyday in the hope there are some new pics!

Somewhere on a market I came across some old Sika with the expire date neatly covered with a small new sticker with a different date. With the latest batch Sika changed it into an engraved notice on the bottom and removed the side stickers.

Fantastic stuff Coen! Are you guys back on the road? I figured you were done since you already had the restoration costs/time posted. Just finishing up or still working on it?

Your efforts and travel are inspiring! If you ever get up to Oregon/USA, please get in touch for anything.

Cheers

Coen,

The "restification" is looking good. I'm also following your posts on facebook (I'm Gene who commented on your industrial strength ear plugs [diff breather filters])

Your spring hanger looks odd in these photos... is it out boarded from the frame? They look vulnerable, but that's probably just the photo angle.

Regards,

It must be the angle from which the photo is taken. All hangers are okay. Thanks though for you concern and all the good lucks from all of you are taken as appreciation.
