More on the Savannah!

Xmas camping in the Savannah: two full days of water crossings.

Xmas camping in the Savannah: A/T temp light comes on on the Pajero.

Xmas camping in the Savannah: sometimes blue skies open up in front of us and makes perfect color combinations: blue - green - red - yellow.

Xmas camping in the Savannah: rain also makes mud.

Xmas camping in the Savannah: the fuel tank of the Pajero has come loose. With some rope we fixate it.

Xmas camping in the Savannah: the rope has cut loose within 15 minutes, so again we use flip flops to protect the rope from sharp edges.

I always look forward to seeing more of your trip. Some photos bring back memories of my trips to the Guyanas, others make me wish I had been as smart as you in staying there and having such a great adventure there, it makes me feel like three months was superficial! :0) Beautiful photos, and please know they are avidly consumed when you post them.

Help needed: They are sending me on a photo assignment in Costa Rica and Panama. All I have to do is, show up there. So I need some logistic help.

- I'll be flying into Miami airpot on 12 Feb 2012 and need a pick-up and a place to stay for 2 nights.
- Flying to Costa Rica on the 14th from Fort Lauderdale airport
- returning to Fort Lauderdale on the 26th of February and need a place for one night.
- Flying from Miami airport on the 27th of February.

Anybody care to help me out? In return I will spoil you with stories of great adventures from around the globe ;-)

Love your Cruiser, Great photos, and it looks like some great adventures. That is sweet that you got to see the Top gear rigs, do you know whatever happened to them? Was the cruiser pretty messed up still from rolling down that dune?

So far I as know, they will be patched up and ready to roll. They might already be driving around in downtown La Paz as we speak.
