We have an 03 Tundra and Sequoia (both 1st Gen). I don't believe the center grille is interchangeable on them. There is a slightly different shape. I discovered this when mounting our bug deflectors on both vehicles. It may be different in the 2nd Gen Tundras and Sequoias, though.

1st generation Tundra regular or access cab is shorter and narrower than the Double Cab or Sequoia. Fenders, Grill, bumper, etc... DO NOT interchange.

If I was building and SUV for overland travel, I'd build a first generation Sequoia. The current 4 runner is as big as my ex Ford Explorer. I parked next to one last fall and thought that it was the new Sequoia. I was looking at a first generation Sequoia the other day and thought that the back of them look a lot like a 100 Land Cruiser.
