Apology

I feel I owe everyone who reads the Land Rover section of this forum an apology. I've been in your face grumpy and more argumentative than normal. I've been dealing with severe money issues and health issues for the past 6 months which has completely soured my outlook on life and lead to depression. It has negatively affected my relationships with people & my writing.

For those I have offended and those who thought I was too much in peoples faces my sincere apologies.

Well, TeriAnn thank you for the kind words. I hope you know how respected and appreciated you are by the forum members here.

We are proud to have you, your cool Dormobile and your great photographs a part of our community!

Please do not hesitate to ask if we can help in any way.

You are a wonderful member of this dysfunctional Portal family, we all love you and that's all that matters.

I'm always interested in what you post, and I think if I had a Land Rover that broke down at the side of the road (not that it ever happens), and only enough juice in my cell phone for one call, I'd be calling you.

One or the other of money issues or health problems is enough to make one grumpy. To have to deal with both at once is an incredible challenge.

I hope things work out for you. You are a tremendous source of knowledge, so keep your head up.

Scott

TerriAnn, I always look forward to your post because so much of you and your experiences come through clearly. There is never any ambiguity of were you stand on an issue and there is typically empirical evidence to back your position. With that said I have come to expect your messages to be straight-up without any sugar, kind of like the Tirkish Coffee my dad always prepares:coffeedrink: Your photos and Dormobile Porn have already become a part of ExPo and the place wouldn’t be the same without you. Someday I look forward to sharing a trail with you.

No need to apologize Terri. You are one of the SME's in this portal and your opinions are valued. Best of luck.

Let's just forget Black vs. Green oval anyway. Whenever I talke to anyone new to Rovers, I always welcome them to "The Muddy Oval Society"!

And doormobiles just kick A@#!

Huh, I just thought you were opinionated ;) I'm sorry to hear about the problem's you're having. I genuinely enjoy reading your posts because I tend to trust that you know what you're talking about. I'm sure alot of us here would agree that your site and knowledge have helped and entertained us all. As you well know the Expo's a pretty good group of people (hell they put up with me right) and if you did upset anyone, I'm sure they'll let it slide.

Hope things clear up for you soon TerriAnn, this board wouldn't be the same with out you.

Cheers

Dave

TeriAnn-
Your writings and your site have positively influenced more people than you can imagine, and your Land Rover is proof positive that you don't have to "suffer" to experience the world in a classic vehicle. You're my hero.

I sincerely hope things turn around for you and you can get back out on the road, so you can find yet another perfect campsite in an increasingly imperfect world.

If you're grumpy, I'm outright evil.

I don't know anything about Rovers and stay away from Rover threads, but I really enjoy you're contributions and I don't think you need to apologize. Hope things improve for you. :sunflower

Teriann,

Get well soon. As others have said, your postings are great fun and very informative, even for a Taco guy like me. You're in our thoughts for a speedy recovery.
