Another that looks forward to your posts. I love the way you built out your rover and look forward to posts about it as well as reading replies. I honestly didn't notice any issue with the "tone" of your posts but I try not to base "tone" on words alone. How something may look in print may have a different meaning when you hear it with the inflections in someones voice.

I can understand the frustration with money and health issues. I have been there and to some extent I still am. Its frustrating.

You will get through it.

Hi TeriAnn,

Your web site and your post in this and other forums have inspired me to do some crazy things to my 109.

So i would like to thank you for this and one of the most informative web sites for Series Land Rovers out there.

I hope all works out and soon. Take care of yourself and take the Green Rover out somewhere and forget about the worries for a while.

Dave

anyone willing to take the initiative to make this thread should be applauded. It illustrates being self-aware, something Americans particularly should work harder on ( I'm American )

Bravo for the post!

Linus,

If you fleshed that out with another 500 words, added some photographs of where you saw TeriAnn's truck from time to time, possibly *with* TeriAnn's truck actually there, I'll bet Scott would publish that piece in his magazine.

It could be a kind of 'how I got hooked...' piece. I think it really honestly has potential.

You could write the words, TeriAnn could shoot the images. Might be a nice piece.

:iagree: Linus, that was inspired:beer:

So I'm cleaning up the kids' room today, sorting videos, when I came across a VCR tape of wheeling videos a friend had made me years ago. And there, in the last segment on the tape, was TeriAnn Wakeman in the Border to Border Expedition.

The friend that made me the compilation? Scott Brady. We used to watch videos like this all of the time when we were stationed together, and he was always into the long-distance, expedition style ones. It's possible you had an impact on what Scott became when he grew up. I hope I have a similar influence when I decide to grow up. I still have time...

You've been part of some amazing adventures, TeriAnn. Here's hoping that you have many more.

Hey Teri

I dont know you or your rover history, so i cant comment on much, other then we all go through stressful or crappy points in our life, and its those around us (your expo friends in this case) that help us through them.

We got a great group here and although your apology is appreciate i am sure, we are all friends and i am SURE that no grudges are held!

Remember, things always get better! :safari-rig:

I wish you the best and hope you are doing well!

My wife & I had the pleasure of traveling the Mojave Road with TeriAnn 4 months ago. She is a real pleasure to travel with, and we would go on another trip with her in a heartbeat.

Unfortunately, there are 800 miles between us, so we don't get to see her but once every 5 years or so.
