Now through April 30th 2010, Sierra Expeditions is offering buy any one (1) ARB Air Locker, locking differential and receive one (1) ARB Compact Compressor (part number CKSA12) absolutely FREE! quote]

I have a 1991 defender 90, and per ARB´s website, I need a RD 127 ARB Air Locker. In Sierra Expeditions cart, I select this locker, and you will add the Compressor automaticaly, or do I have to select also the Compressor?.. My other question is if the locker comes with the switch and air hoses, or do I have to buy them separetly?

Sorry for all the questions,

Regards

Just ordered the RD155!

I've been waiting for this for a long time.

Can't wait to get it installed in a week or two.

Bump for a sweet deal. :smiley_drive:

I already really like the front ARB. I'm really going to enjoy having the locker on the rear axle too. I can't believe I had to wait this long for the product to be developed. The LSD wasn't bad, but I'm sure the locker will take it that much farther to places I probably shouldn't go ;)

Very tempting, seeing that my 10.25 sterling in my F250 will need a rebuild in the next few years.

Hmm...

I have a Jeep Cherokee with 30x9.50 tires and a 2 inch lift. I have come across numerous occasions where lockers would of allowed me to continue without having to use a heavy right foot, have to turn around or would of kept me from ending up getting stuck.

Do you think it would be worth spending the money on ARB locker/s? I am a afraid an Aussie locker or an un-selectable locker of similar design would not satisfy me and possibly affect on road performance.

Keep in mind i have a 12 hour drive that I do a couple times a year as well as weekly on road driving to trails and other local areas but I do a large amount of wheeling.

Any help is appreciated!

IMO, a selectable locker would be my choice over an automatic locker. We have an automatic locker in our Liberty, and it does impact the road manners of the Jeep, not to mention increases tire wear. However the automatic lockers are indeed cheaper, they just seem to lock up at the wrong times when on the road, causing wheel chirping, and such.
