Very nice FJCs.

You must be using a Verizon Air Card, no? Good work :)

Yes, the same card we used on the Arctic trip last year.

Current location: downtown Eugene, OR in a cafe with 120VAC. . .

I saw that FJ with the topo map on it down on Alki Beach a few weeks ago. So is that ARB location on the waterfront under the West Seattle Bridge THE ARB location? If so, can you just go in there and look around?

No, THE location is is 720 SW 34th St. in Renton. It is the main distribution warehouse for N and S America. While there is no retail counter or showroom (nothing to really walk around and look at), you can call them for parts and pick them up there.

that was actually ARB's old location. A big difference from then to now.

ARB has a few employees that live in the alki/west seattle area, thats why you saw the silver FJ.

It was great to meet you as well! It was fun to document the install. Maybe next time I can plan for a little more time to stay and do a trip in your area with you guys.

I had another good day. I left Eugene early and had a beautiful drive along the Willamette river corridor, then made my way to Crater lake. The north entrance was closed, so I had to make a substantial detour to the south entrance. It was another nice sunny day and the water was bluer than blue can be! I'm in Reno now, and just had a wonderful dinner with James (Redline) and his wife Beth, and Jeremy (24HOURSOFNEVADA). (James is a contributor to Overland Journal and did the writing and photography for the DeLarge Overlander story.)

Along the Wilammete drive, I stopped at McCredie hot springs for a nice soak.

And Crater lake. . .

Mark and Chris,
One more on fitment issues. Do you know if the interferrance is between the bumper including the tow bar and tank (i.e. does the FJ Cruiser have the ARB Rear Bumper and Rear Tow Bar)?

You my friend are very tallented, fantastic shots. Enjoy the ride home and safe travels.

Cheers,
Pierre
