Thanks.

Are you guys running heavy springs? Or med? Arb?

Hi there! I’m Jamie! And I purchased mine from adventure driven design, the turn around time was fast and I recommend getting a bolt on kit with it. I am running OME medium springs and have no sag. You will need to drill a totally 10 holes into the front of your car but the install is pretty easy overall

Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining.
I ran the Med. duty OME setup, but was unhappy with the spring rate when the rig was laden. I've been running the HD springs for years now. P1011315.JPG

It all depends how you use your rig. In my situation, I need springs that will carry a fully laden rig for multiple days (five to ten days average) of backcountry wheeling. The med. duty springs just weren't up for the loads. They would sag, but worse was the spring rate when covering high-speed sections. They wouldn't control the rear end enough...safety was an issue.

When the rig is unladen it does ride stiff. Luckily, it's not a drama with the wife. All of our vehicles have had HD suspensions for touring.

On my last family trip I had super bad sag with the ome med , when we just loaded up the rig so that was my main issue, I can only imagine when I throw a heavy front bumper up front, I mainly do small trails not hard core but still

I concur - OME HD is the way to go for anyone that is going to use the vehicle in a camping/overland set up. Just in armor I've got nearly 300lbs worth on my Gen3 - ARB bumper, 3 ADD skids, rock sliders, and I still need to get a fuel tank skid, rear a/c skid, and rear bench skid so that'll push up to 400lbs. Then you add a couple people and their gear and the HD makes sense real quick.
