ARB slide lock install

I installed a slide lock tray in the back of me 60. In the box were the turnbuckles and holddowns. There were also four small screws. Any idea what the screws are for?

There should have also been four metal tabs. The metal tabs go under the handle, and you use the screws to replace the stock ones(the new ones are longer to account for the added thickness of the tabs).

Are you talking this:

Or this:

I have the metal unit but the tabs look different. (mine is made in South Africa) But I only have four screws rather that the eight that mount the handle. I'll have to look at it further.

Thanks

Yes I have all four tabs. They are a different style but I think I have it figured out. Thanks for you help.

I thought about what those screws were for.
Maybe they screw into the fixed portion of the tray to set the tray so it can't slide, even pushing down the latch.
