Manual focus and live view help a lot. :sombrero:

X2, live view is a huge help with focus. With respects to vibration and sharp shots, I was surprised at how much a camera vibrates when you release the shutter until I did a couple test shots myself. Now when I take still shots I always use mirror up coupled with exposure delay and trigger the camera with my infrared ML3 remote.

I love how you guys tend to remember to really look at some of the details of the places you are exploring. I think it's so easy to get stuck in the macro view, but there are so many beautiful images at the micro scale too.

Backyard light painting and timed exposure streaking the clouds lit by the moon. 46 shots and this is my favorite.
