Here's one of a few of the village kids.
We had spent the afternoon surfing a break in front of their village. As we were walking back to the trucks, all of the kids started following me asking about the big yellow box in my hands. Only one knew enough English to hold a conversation but I understood what they all wanted.
I broke down the housing and started playing with them. No matter where you are in the world, kids are universal. Play time is play time. I chased them and they chased me. In between, I managed a few images. Each time I clicked the shutter, there was pure uninhibited laughter. None of them had ever seen a picture of themselves so it was fun to show them their picture on the LCD. Every where I went in that village, they followed. It was quite the afternoon.
When I got home, I made some prints of all them and sent them down to the surf camp to deliver to the village. A few weeks later, I received a note in halting english signed by all of them. Pretty cool.

Wow... I'd love to get a shot like that... what settings did you use?... do you remember? What's your ISO? I've tried a shot like that with ISO 400, and 15 seconds is never enough, which I think is the max time length for my camera... plus it gets grainy.

I used ISO 6400 for 30 seconds at ƒ/2.8 haha.
