is a teak and holly sole style floor :sombrero: Excellent work Paul!!!Sterling work again sir. Very nicely done. What amazes me is the speed you work at. I've only done one van but it took months so my hat comes off to you.
Without wanting to sound nitpicky, is there a way to vent the grey tank without leaving it 'open'. From my experience, it will stink out the van pretty quickly once you get some fatty water in there. I found that even with a bit of bleach in the tank it was an issue.

The hole into the tank is only 1/4", not nearly as large as the fitting suggests...I might 'cotton-ball' the end of the tube since the vent only need a wee bit of air to let the sink drain acceptably...

If you have a fish store around you, they sell activated carbon for water filtration, a small bag of that on the outletwill kill smells off.

Is it a possibility if it becomes an issue to extend the pipe, and loop it back on itself and drop it through the floor. Then it's only a problem for the tent campers next door...

Not a very special one. It's the Rosewill R-IC-1500, which I got through Newegg a couple years ago. (Rosewill is sort of Newegg's "house brand.") They were on sale, so I bought two, for about $50 each. We already had a $600 stand-alone induction cooktop, so we knew we liked induction's performance, but we were surprised that the Rosewill performed just as well even though it weighed about a third as much. So we've used the Rosewill in our house for a year-plus with good results, and feel pretty positive about how well the second one will work in the Sprinter.
It's principally an appliance for when shorepower is available, but if you had a big battery bank and relatively short uses, you could run off an inverter with some loss of battery longevity due to the high discharge rate. Note, though, that it'll take about a 2K watt inverter to run it, and there've been reports that some people haven't been successful in running them off modified sine wave inverters. We have a pure sine wave Prosine 2.0, so it'll work, though we still expect to switch to a portable propane burner when boondocking.
There's some bad news in that it looks like this particular cooktop has been discontinued:

which will be no great issue unless you want to flush mount it like we did. The very similar Rosewill RHIC-11001 also seems unavailable, and most of the obvious suspects have sloping control panels. But if you search for induction cooktops on eBay, you can find some models that, at least at a quick glance, appear suitable.

Thank you all for the kind words and praises on these build threads...They mean a lot to me and I should acknowledge them more but often I don't...Again thanks...
My trip here to teach a workshop has been another mind blowing experience...EVERYONE NEEDS TO COME HERE AND SEE HOW THE BEST IN THE WORLD DO THINGS...Yeah...
I'm glad to have a break from the Sprinter, which is so close to being done, but being here inspires me to do better, because I can...Today, I met again with the finest woodworker I've ever seen...Being with greatness like that humbles me and makes me strive to be the best I can...I am just a grasshopper compared to him and a few others like him...
Tomorrow a five day wood surfboard class starts with six participants and it will be life changing for all involved...I've seen it before to know it's true...
