We can show more than one movie. Honestly, I am not sure of the "rating"on Gods must be Crazy.

We will make sure it is completely family friendly.

Well, not just the rating per say, but will young children be somewhat interested in watching? Like I mentioned, I dont remember the story.

I ordered a copy of Horatio's Drive but have reason to believe it may not show up. I didnt see it on PBS but if its good I'll bring it along. I will keep you posted.

You can pre screen "The God's Must be Crazy" as a streaming video online to see if you think it's suitable.

I am wondering if Mario could give us a little preview of his trip plans to the Grand Canyon. I am wondering about milage, time driving, and possible end location. I want to bring the boys but I am unsure if they want to sit in the Jeep for that many hours on the ride home.

Thanks

I think he is more concerned with whether or not young children will care to watch "Outback Jack" chase around a possesed Rover while "Jane of the Jungle" tries to pretend she is not madly in love with him.

What a classic.

:)

I am still trying to convince the wife. I am sure the kids would have a great time.

On another note - Mario is this trip full at this time. I see a lot of folks are planning on coming but I have not seen a formal list.

Wait list for GCOO:

Smiley Rock will take possibly 6-7 hours due to the popularity of this trail on a holiday weekend. If any other groups are encountered on this narrow trail, it can really slow things down.

Squaw Peak is a 2 on the 5 scale. This trail is big rig friendly - even White Power Wagons with 4Wheel Campers.

I will pre-run the GCOO route on May 22nd. Route is fine for full size vehicles. Expect that it will be a 6-7 hour trail run, approximately 160 miles to the overnight camp. Trip will wrap up at camp on Sunday, people are welcome to camp overnight which is about 3 miles from pavement or keep rolling. There is fuel 6 miles from the overnight camp.

You can count in dirty Bakers/A7XJ and Jardbear for Smiley rock. This will be 2 vehicles with children under age 6. We are 100% sure we will be there.
Thanks

I've made arrangements with Lance for one of my friends to ride in the WAVE for the Smiley Face trail. I'll have the guys kid(s) in my Tacoma.

I can't help but notice my name still hasn't appeared on the run lists. Don't want to jump to any conclusions here, but I thought my wording was sufficiently clear that I was interested in participating.
