Renaissance Redneck
I used to have a converted 1969 International Harvester bus that I used as a bunk house
at our white-water rafting camp. One day the fuel pump went out on the huge 6 cyl gas engine. I had the cowling off, and a friend holding a 2 liter (half gallon) Coke bottle with the nipple from a gear oil bottle on it, followed by some surgical tubing leading to the fuel line inlet on the carb. The bottom was cut off the bottle making it a funnel with 2 liter capacity. He would fill the Coke bottle from a 5 gallon jerry can and then hold the 2 liter up like an IV drip. We drove the thing way too many kilometers like that. Kind of scary, but it go the bus where it needed to go!:sombrero:
