Thanks. It`s called Kaiflex, it`s a closed cell structure with in-built water vapour barrier. Work`s out pretty good.

No, that`s one of the regulations that`s pretty user friendly. If there is an extra switch to control it it is considered a work light and doesn`t need any approvement. Of course there will be another switch that ties it into the highbeams but i won`t tell them about it. :ylsmoke:
Pretty self explaining that you`re not allowed to use it while on a public road (of course i don`t care about that).

Drove it to the shop today. Nice comparison between one of the biggest and one of the smallest 4x4`s around:
Made a plan:
Removed the espar:
Then we bought some wood for the cabinets an stuff. The boss already approved it:
Put some grease on the hydronic tubing:
Put in the floor:
And removed it. Now i can see where the tubing is:
Cut some slots for it:
Used the oem floor to trace the mounting holes:
In for good:
Also put in the sofa/bed:
Need to make some cutouts for the wheel well but i really like it.

Yes, awesome little 4x4.
Had a couple hours today, so i started on the light mount. First i bent a piece of flat bar:
Then i milled some mounting brackets for the light bar:

Ground some bevels on the flat bar:
Tacked it:
Welded on some mounts:
Welded everything up:
Put some HIDs and LEDs in the lights:
And put it together:

Great to see progress and loving the panda 4x4. All the UK ones have rusted to nothing now, it's nice to see one in such good condition. I've always fancied buying a rotten one and turning into off road toy.

It just looks good in that picture. We had to weld in a ****load of sheetmetal in order to pass inspection. But that`s great, i earn my money this way.
Well, today didn`t exactly go as planned. Got a call that there was water coming out of my shop. Turned out a water pipe on the ceiling busted.
The water level was at about 2" when i arrived.
