Yes it`s 10mm flat bar. It`s not overkill, otherwise it`d flex under the weight of the high beams.

Yes. But the air heater will mostly be used to dry clothes and stuff, and to boost up temperature. Main heater will be the hydronic, feeding the hydronic floor heating and a small heat exchanger.

any info on the Bilge Pump you used and why you chose that one? Have not seen shower install before so just curious

I bought it off ebay. It`s rated for 600gph. The price was right and it seemed well build to me. Wouldn`t need it with a underfloor grey tank.

I bought some push lock locks but didn`t like the feel of the cheap plastic knobs. So i turned some out of brass:
